A poem of persistence and acceptance
She wraps both hands around life and leaps for the sky
she comes down exactly how she expected
hard and fast
but a few more leaps and she is in the door
or out one door and in another
eyes shut tight
knees shaking and her chin
propped up by the ones she
loves most
